My Herd of Shoes

Minulle kengissä on tärkeintä mukavuus. Lisäksi niiden olisi suotavaa olla väriltään mustia ja mahdollisesti sisältää kivoja yksityiskohtia. Epämukavat kengät tekevät minut päivän mittaan kiukkuiseksi, ja olenkin lähtes kokonaan luopunut korkeista koroista. Käyn joka kevät ja syksy läpi kaikki kengät ja siistin ne, joten nyt oli siis hyvä hetki tehdä postaus kenkäkatraastani.

 Kahdet nätit kengät talvikäyttöön, molemmat bongattu alennusmyynnistä.
Two nice shoes for winter - both of them are sale findings.

Bootsit ja tennarit - molemmat toimivat täydellisesti farkkujen kanssa. Bootsit ovat kirpparilöytö.

Boots and tennis shoes - both of them work well with jeans.

Kolme paria maihareita, keskimmäiset ja oikeanpuoleiset kirppikseltä.

Three pairs of combat boots, two of them second hand.

Kahdet identtiset kirppislöytökorkkarit ja yhdet kauniit kiiltäväpintaiset kengät Berliinistä.

Two identical second hand heels and the third ones are from Berlin.

Lisää korkokenkiä, kaikki kirpparilta. Oikeanpuoleiset alkavat olemaan jo aika terminaalivaiheessa.

More heels, all second hand. The ones in right I should throw away, they are so broken.

Kaksi paria nilkkureita - vasemmanpuoleiset kirpparilta. Oikeanpuoleiset ostin vasta hiljattain ja olen aivan rakastunut niihin, ne ovat niin söpöt mutta mukavat.

Two pairs of heeled angle shoes. The ones at left are second hand. The ones at right are the newest and I'm so in love with them. They are so cute but comfy.

Ballerinoja. Näitä tuli kesällä kulutettua ahkerasti.

Ballerinas. I used these often in summer.

Näiden lisäksi löytyy vielä yhdet random lenkkarit joita käytän jos luvassa on jotain missä kengät voivat sotkeutua. En vaivaantunut edes ottamaan kuvaa.

I also have one pair of random sneakers to use when doing something with a risk of shoes getting messy. I didn't even bother to take a picture.

Millaisia kenkiä te tykkäätte käyttää?

Translation:
The most important thing in shoes for me is that they should be comfortable. They should also be black and maybe have some interesting details. Uncomfortable shoes do make me angry during the day so I don't use high heels so often. Every spring and autumn I go through my shoe collection and clean and polish all of them so now was a good moment to show you my herd of shoes. What kind of shoes you love to wear?

The Butterflies of Crimson Peak

Rakastan korttien askartelua, vaikka valitettavan harvoin tarjoutuu tilaisuuksia niitä kenellekään antaa. Viimeisimpänä innostuin lehdestä löytyneistä perhosten kuvista. Nyt Crimson Peakin katsottuani nämä kortit myös muistuttavat elokuvassa olleista siivekkäistä. Pakan päällimmäinen päätyi viime viikolla isänpäiväkortiksi.

Translation:

I love to make cards. Last time I got inspired by butterfly pictures I found from a magazine. Now after watching Crimson Peak these cards remind me the butterflies from the movie. I used one of them as a fathers day card last week (the one in the top of the pile in first picture).

Ra the Pheasant

Isänpäivälahjaa on yleensä aina ihan supervaikea keksiä. Sukat ovat tylsiä, suklaa on itsestäänselvyys ja kaikenmaailman työkalut ovat oman osaamisalueeni ja lompakkoni ulkopuolella. Tänä vuonna kuitenkin sain kerrankin kivan idean ja ilahdutin isää piirustuksella. Hän tykkää linnuista kovasti ja kuvan aiheeksi valikoitui fasaani. Työvälineinä käytin finelineria ja vesiliukoisia värikyniä.

Translation:

Fathers day present is usually so hard to find! Socks are boring, chocolate is not surprising either and tools are out of my range of knowledge and budget. But this year I hand an inspiration and I choose to draw something. My father likes birds so much so I did draw a picture of a pheasant. For this artwork I used fineliners and water-soluble crayons.
